oops

Ah shoot, I meant to keep this blog up to date, even if it was just random nonsense, or all about the kitties...well... I got so caught up in taking care of the kitties and life in general, I forgot about the blog. *shame*

Kitties are doing fine, growing so fast, can easily jump onto the bed, couch and us. Showing their personalities more and more, adorable for sure.

I am doing ok, back still hurts, will be setting an appointment for therapy, hope it works.

Why are folks so mean?

I have to wonder... why are some folks so mean?
Why do people say mean things, instead of offering support and understanding?
Why are people quick to lay the blame, instead of trying to find a solution?
Why.... why why why...

It saddens me to think, that I allow the words of others to affect me in such a way, that I withhold my own words for fear of being the one to be the target.

People need to learn to know when to attack, and when to just keep quiet.

*sigh*
It will never happen though.

As I said before, somewhere, don't remember where, I tend to ramble, sometimes my thoughts make no sense, this is probably one of those times. Welcome to my world :)

Kitty pics!!!

I finally got some kitty pics, so here ya go!

Saw the Dr

I saw the Doc, she said that it is good that I am experiencing less pain. At this time she is not going to do the xrays or mri, instead she wants me to do some physical therapy to strengthen my back and if I am still experiencing issues then we will proceed further. She also wants me to stop taking the ibuprofen but keep using the heating pad. Once I see the physical therapist I will then know what I can and can not do, ie lifting, sweeping floor, mowing lawn, moving furniture etc.

Kittens are doing well, picked up a little kitty cube house thing for them today, they went in it for a little bit, but then went back to their box. Me thinks they really like their box... after all it has been their home, their safe haven since they came to be with us. (they will probably keep the box in some form or another (ie, kitty condo, or something)

Dr tomorrow and kitty pics

I go to see the dr tomorrow to see what is going on with my back. It seems to be feeling better, but starts hurting if I do anything, even something as simply as sweeping the floor or dusting the entertainment center. (I am talking non lifting type stuff)... hopefully it is nothing serious and just a pulled muscle still healing)

Kittens are doing well, we have names for them which I think will be the names that stick LOL (I am bad for naming animals, I end up calling them many names before one sticks)
Kippy is the black and white one (male)
Bernie is the orange tabby (male)
Dougal is the torti without the light color on the face (female)
CryBaby (which the boys wanted to call mask) is the other torti with the face markings (female)

I am such a clutz

Well... back pain still there, now add to that a sore knee, and more back pain from twisting it.

What happened you ask?...
Well, last night the kittens fell asleep in our room, by the foot of the bed, so I was leaning over to pick them up to place them in their box for the night, and as I went to pick up the second one, lo and behold, my hip gave out (getting old) lost balance, and went down on one knee. All my weight onto that one knee, and I am a big girl.

Hurt like hell, was not sure if I did damage or what, I was shaking and could not get up... but told hubby to leave me there and get me a bag of frozen veggies to put on it (works great, better than ice in a towel)...
took about 15 to 20 minutes and I was able to stand, but sore today. Hubby put kittens to bed for me.

Speaking of kittens, here is an adorable pic of hubby with his kitty Bernie... soooo cute...

ah yes...

Just another day? It is never just another day. Kittens are growing so fast, and they are very affectionate little things. So sad that someone would just toss them out like trash. Four little lives, four little bundles of happiness, just tossed aside. Thank goodness my brother in law found them when he did.

As for me... same old same old, back still hurts, been dealing with a weather headache (storm came through), and of course trying to remind the kids that the kittens are underfoot. Kittens are still too small to know to get out of the way of feet. Instead they run to them.

Not much else today, not really in a rambling kinda mood... maybe tomorrow.
